Amara Events was founded in May 2019 by two Nigerian-American women with a passion for tasteful event planning, coordinating, and decorating services. We started as friends with a crazy idea of taking our hobby and transforming it into a thriving business venture. “Amara” is an Igbo word that means grace; that is what we strive to bring to all of our events. The majority of our events have been in Los Angeles, but we have, and are open to traveling for events when necessary.
